Well all questions can stop here because I'm about to share with you the best legal music site you'll ever find. 

The name is eMusic. 

PROS:

• The music is cheap compared to iTunes prices
• eMusic also comes with a pretty good free trail, giving you time to see if you like it or not.
• The best part of all, there is no encryption on their songs like there is on iTunes' songs.  (This means if you have a problem with your computer and it crashes unexpectedly, you won't have to worry about not owning the rights to your own music!)
• Unlike iTunes, you can play this music on any music player and on any device you want. You truly own the rights to your music.
• After your free trial is over, you pick a plan that suits you. The more you spend on the plan, the less you spend on your songs. (i.e. if you pay $11.99 a month for your subscription your songs will be $.50 a piece, and you can get 24 songs.)

CONS::

It does not have a huge list of popular songs.

It requires you to buy a certain amount of songs, therefore if you only buy a couple of songs a month, it ends up costing you more.

eMusic is the best value you're going to find if you're a music addict like me. If you're not satisified with your free trial, you can cancel at any time and keep all the new music you received. (Make sure, however, to cancel if you don't want to continue their service. It will automatically charge you if you do not)
